Chris Brown- F.A.M.E. Not All It’s Cracked Up To Be

The Story: R&B singer Chris Brown loses his cool after a Good Morning America Interview and proceeded to destroy parts of his dressing room.  Brown was upset about an interview with GMA’s Robin Roberts, who questioned the singer about his famous post Grammy  spat with ex-girlfriend, pop singer Rihanna.  Brown had been in the studio to discuss the release of his new album, “F.A.M.E.” . He performed one song post interview, then took to his dressing room where he destroyed several objects.  Brown was convicted of felony domestic violence for beating Rihanna.  Brown has since finished community service and domestic violence counseling, and was even praised by the judge for finishing his community service in a timely manner.  Rihanna has since allowed a judge to lift a restraining order against Chris, which prevented him from being within a certain amount of feet within her.  Brown is currently on probation, however, cops were not called to the scene.

Why it Matters: Brown had recently boasted about his completion of a domestic violence course, even taking to the social network website Twitter to post a picture of his certificate.  How effective are these courses in domestic violence, if someone is capable of such an outburst only weeks after he was supposedly rehabilitated?

Shop Talk: Clear use of the 5 w’s, good background information on how Chris’s career is currently holding up.

Would Have Been Nice: This story makes no mention of Brown leaving the studio and taking his shirt off while walking down the streets in New York City.  Brown specifically broke a dressing room window; there are pictures all over the internet of said window, yet this article omits them.
